Emma (Michelle) Richmond is a 3D Animator and filmmaker from Jacksonville, Florida, currently pursuing her MFA in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) after earning her BFA in 3D Character Animation with a minor in Visual Effects. She has directed and produced multiple large-scale projects at SCAD, including her senior film Above the Clouds (May 2024) and most recently Inkwashed!, a SCAD Animation Studios short film.

With a lifelong love for animation, Emma approaches every project with empathy, curiosity, and adaptability. She is recognized by peers and instructors for her eagerness to learn, collaborative spirit, and commitment to uplifting others. Above all, her passion is to bring happiness to those around her and to her audience, striving to create work that resonates deeply and leaves a lasting impact.
